How to Enter TOC Pages

Use the actual page numbers shown by your PDF reader, not printed book page numbers. You can enter one page, a range, or multiple ranges, such as 6, 11-20, or 2-4,6.

How to Use Page Offset

The page offset can be left blank. If blank, the system uses the last TOC page as the default offset. Only set it manually when generated bookmarks are consistently shifted.

Single and Double Column TOCs

Double column is the default. Choose single column for older books, textbooks, or TOCs arranged as one vertical list.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm the uploaded file is a valid PDF.
• Confirm TOC pages use actual PDF page numbers.
• For scanned TOCs, use clear, upright PDFs without severe skew.
• TOC titles without page numbers may not be converted into bookmarks.
